Specializes in Internal Medicine

Pre med: All medical doctors go through the same initial pathway; take classes to fulfill your premedical prerequisites in college, take the mcat, and apply to medical school. After medical school, do an internal medicine residency, followed by cardiology subspecialty fellowship.

Cardiologist: You first become a physician, then you become an internal medicine doctor(3 more years), then you become a cardiologist(2 more years), then at least 1 more year to become an interventional cardiologist. It takes a long time and a lot of work and dedication.
