Yes, hope: It sounds like you've had a lot of difficulty. If not doing so already, please consult with a psychiatrist on your case. You may need augmentation of some of the antidepressants you've already tried, or you may have a metabolic change in folate (folic acid) metabolism which requires specific supplementation. If you've not been in talk therapy, this is essential. Also there are tms and ECT treatments.

There is a hope: Antidepressants are sometimes not effective alone and have to augmented by simultaneous administration of other medication (e.g., atypical antipsychotic).

Yes: Pills are not the end all and be all for every human problem. Counseling, exercise, adequate sleep, and good nutrition can go a long way to help these problems. If angst and dejection with life's difficulties are participant you should join a course in miracles study group. A psychologist and/ or a naturopath might be able to help. Mindfullness & relaxation therapies are recommended.
