Antidepressants: Usually when an antidepressant has been taken for a while & there is no response, limited response, or partial response, or side-effects, consideration is given to either augment, switch, supplement or adjust dosage of the current antidepressant. When adding another antidepressant, it usually is from a different group of antidepressants from the first. Your psychiatrist has expertise to explain al.
