Antidepressants: Most doctors or more likely to give anti-depressants because it is a quick and easy fix. Most anitdepressants focus on modulating serotonin. Unfortunately, the cause of depression can be something other tnan a serotonin issue. It could be a situational issue with a direct impact on your life. It could be a lack of function of the adrenal gland or it could be a hormonal imbalance.
