Appendix pain?: Inflammation of the appendix has a pretty clear set of symptoms and usually progresses rapidly. In acute appendicitis, the pain begins as stomach ache +/- nausea and moves 2 very sharp rt lower abdominal pain. Any movement, coughing, pressure is extremely painful. It usually doesn't get better. But sometimes u will feel slightly better if it ruptures only to feel much worse later on. See an md.

Who knows?: Appendicitis can be life threatening. If your symptoms are of recent onset and include fever & abdominal right lower quadrant pain, then the safest bet is to have a doctor's urgent evaluation.
