Appendicitis : Most attacks of appendicitis are deemed "acute." the usual symptoms - if you have an appendix in the normal position (and some don't) - are peri umbilical pain, which soon migrates down and to the right. Often, there is nausea, fever, and constant pain. There are forms of so-called "chronic" appendicitis that are less dramatic. If the symptoms don't subside today, i would quickly see your doctor.

Yes acute appendicit: Pain, nausea, anorexia, fever, tenderness in right lower abdomen are the classic signs and symptoms. Retrocecal appendicitis may show little of these until late, often after rupture. You should get evaluated, by your primary, the er or a general surgeon with possible need for ct for persistent pain.
