Spray of Afrin (oxymetazoline): You may want to try a single spray of afrin (oxymetazoline) in the left nostril. It should open the eustachian tube, allowing the pressure to equalize.

Ear wax impaction: You have likely pushed ear wax deep into the ear canal and up against the eardrum. When you swallow or burp and create a pressure gradient through the middle ear cavity, the eardrum typically moves to accommodate the change, unless something is preventing it from effectively doing so. Best fix? See your primary doc to check what is going on in your ear. Please no more using q-tips to "clean" ears.
