Probably: Mupirocin ointment can be an effective method for eliminated MRSA colonization from nasal passages and skin fold areas. Abscesses need to be drained, rather than just treated with mupirocin. Taking baths with a small amount of household bleach added to the water, disinfecting household surfaces such as door knobs and cabinet handles, and routine use of hand sanitizers help also.

It might.: Unfortunately, the MRSA can reoccur even after being treated with mupirocin.
