Upper Body: Try bench exercises and upper body workouts. If you are out of the cast and bones are healed you can try swimming, being careful not to push off if your are doing laps. It's best to get the "all clear" from your doctor following an exam prior to exercising, the last thing you want to do is exacerbate your current injury or create a new one.

Depends: Activity level after a foot fracture really depends on the specific bone that was fractured and the treatment (surgery, cast, boot, etc). Your foot specialist should give you specific guidelines as to your activity level at this point in your healing.

Gym Broken Foot: Until the bones are healed, you will need to stay off of the foot. That mean nothing that involves standing or moving the foot. I usually recommend upper body workouts and once healed, slowly transition by using the stationary bicycle.
