I broke my foot in december 2020, in 3 places. i am still wearing the boot because my foot is still swelling after healing. what can i do? can i put a regular shoe on? my foot is suppose to be healed and and it's 03/09/21?

During the healing of a fracture, it is very important to follow up with your orthopedic Dr. Only a repeat xray can show if your bones are healed and if there are any problems. Swelling can be a long term problem caused by injury to the lymphatic system.

Some ongoing problems might include a nonunion fracture, development of complex regional pain syndrome, complication of leg thrombophlebitis, etc. Visit your orthopedic surgeon, decide upon potential testing, and therapy. A triple phase bone scan may be in order.
