No: There is a link between type 2 dm and pcos --insulin resistance , but no link between type 1 and pcos.

Rarely: The link is type 2 diabetes and pcos, but some type 1 patients are offspring of type 2 diabetes parents, so that type 1 patient might be more prone to pcos.
