Yes: Pregancy can trigger a type of diabetes called gestational diabetes. Normally is goes away after delivery. Try to keep your weight under control. If you have Insulin resistance try injecting in different sites: left arm right arm , stomach in different areas before increasin your dose. Speak to your doctor about this for advice. Diabetes is best comanaged by you and your health care provider.
