Elevated "A1C" may represent increased risk of diabetes (type 2), which can affect regularity of menstruation (lack of ovulation) and produce "PCOS". Consult a GYN physician for guidance, as PCOS can have other consequences , and use of oral bcp's will obviate these effects.
