Is there some method, or trick, that can help me fall asleep when i'm in pain with a fractured wrist?

Sleeping: You can try taking the pain medicine they gave you right before bed in combination with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) 25mg. Also, try elevating your wrist above your heart on pillows while you sleep to help control the inflammation. Make sure you have a dedicated 8 hours to sleep when taking the benadryl, (diphenhydramine) this can make you pretty tired for 8 hours.

Tell your doc: If you are having difficulty getting to sleep let your doc know and he may be able to suggest some medicine that can help.
