Sugars vs nutrition: I would first advise you that sugar is not the healthiest part of a diet. You do need complex carbohydrates in your diet, but you do not necessarily need simple sugar. The thought is that 40 to 60 grams of carbohydrates as part of a diet that is majority proteins is a good place to land.
