A member asked:

Every since i had the leap procedure i've been unable to become pregnant. could this have made getting pregnant harder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: A leep procedure can remove some of the glands that produce cervical mucus, and that may make it harder for sperm to enter, and be able to fertilize the egg. Also i see you are 40 years old: that may well be a larger factor in your ability to get pregnant. If you're not seeing an infertility specialist, i encourage you to do so soon. Good luck!
