During pregnancy, food began to get stuck in my esophagus somewhat frequently but not every time. id have to get it up to make it feel better, swallowing harder failed. 1year after birth, and problem still occurs. what care possible issues here?

This likely reflects the result of stomach acid backwash (reflux) which is common in pregnancy. It may produce enough irritation to cause not only heartburn but spasm of the swallow muscles. I would discuss this with your doc. A simple PPI Med may help or they may refer you to a GI doc for testing. A tube/camera down the throat can identify a troublesome area or stricture.
