No hurry: Not really. You are putting undue stress on the back muscles and legs. Your child will be walking soon enough. Dont rush it.

Not collapsible one: Collapsing walkers can be dangerous at any age because of crushing fingers and falling down stairs. The play stations which are surrounded with amusing activities that would not be very movable for a 4 month old would be ok for a short time if the infant enjoyed it.

No. : The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends against using walkers because they can discourage your child from learning to walk on his own, but also because they can be dangerous. Thousands of babies end up in emergency rooms from falling down stairs or bumping into furniture while in a walker. And studies have shown that babies in walkers learn to walk about 1 month later than those who don't.
