Regimented: Be regimented. Exercise regularly, about 30-60 minutes daily or even 3x/week, depending on your schedule at 16yo. Eat healthy, with decrease carbs and decreased saturated fats. Avoid sodas in general. Most gyms have a trainer, so do not be afraid to ask for tips on what machines and exercies you can use/do at the gym. Good luck.
