A member asked:

Is it possible to see thyroid on a cardiac ultrasound?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Thyroid glands are typically seen during an ultrasound of the carotid arteries. If a cardiac ultrasound looks up high enough, or if you have a thyroid that is unusually low (as in substernal thyroid) you could see it.
