Better w other meds: Hypogonadism means the gonads are not making hormones and gametes ( eggs or sperms). Primay hypogonadism means the gonads have failed. Secondary hypogonadism means the ovary is not working because the brain isnt telling it what to do. We can give hormones to drive egg production--usually we need fsh to make the eggs( or sperm). Hcg helps w hormone production. Its best to use both drugs together.
