A member asked:

I was diagnosed with sec. hypogonadism. my endocrinologist doc. gives me treatment with hcg 1 ovitrelle at 10 days. how long it's safe to follow this.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear: Ovitrelle is available in europe and is a long acting form of HCG typically used in women to induce fertility. In men, it can increase testosterone production from the testicles, but it will not cure your problem if you have secondary hypogonadism, as this is a problem in the pituitary or hypothalamus. Unfortunately, the longer you use it, the more dependent your body will become on it.
