Not at all: Up until about 6 months you can sleep in any position that is comfortable for you. After 6 months you want to avoid sleeping flat on your back. Your abdominal wall, the wall of the uterus and the fluid around the baby all protect the baby - you can't hinder the growth of your baby by sleeping on your side.
