I'm pregnant and i had to get a sonogram of my kidneys. how can they see if big uterus?

Through the back: Sonogram of kidneys is usually done with probe on back, so see kidneys thru back, not thru belly. Since uterus is low and in front, it should not get in way of pictures of kidneys/upper ureters very much.
