A member asked:

Is it safe to use visine with polymyxin drops for pink eye?

Yes/no: Should be safe, but i would not recommend because visine is a vasoconstrictor and will limit / restrict blood flow to the surface of the eye (that is how it takes the red away). But with and infection or pink eye, you want the blood flow to help take care of the infection/pink eye.

Yes: Visine is ok for relief in the short term (a few days). Artificial tears are safer if needed for more than a few days.
