Unique for each: 5 year suvival for stage IV nsclc depends on particular study series. Overall is about 0-1% 5 yr survival. Occationally some patients respond and go on remission. Remission means that the cancer is not gone necessarily, but at least can not be seen to grow on cat scans. Cat scans and pets can not see cells or tumors that do not form a mass.Individial prognosis unique.
