WHAT?!?: Ok, i usually don't dog on other docs, but this one is out there! tennis elbow is overuse tendonitis. I'm assuming that you have jaw pain from TMJ syndrome, which is a cartilage inflammation. I imagine that you could have an overuse muscle syndrome from something like over-chewing (gum, steak?), but that would be a stretch. Either way, Motrin could be a reasonable treatment to start with.

TMJ?: Sounds like tmj. You should have it evaluated and be given options for treatment including physical therapy or a bite guard.
