Hi. i have a "fracture of humeral head, right, closed" and the ed didn't do anything for me except refer me to an ortho surgeon which i need a referral for. my question is what do i do now? my arm is killing and it's in a sling so i cannot use it?

Primary management of a non-displaced fracture at this site is often just immobilization in a sling and pain control. The otho follow-up is also standard procedure. I would go see the ortho when they schedule you and coordinate pain control/ work notes with your primary doc.
