Probably not: Weakness and hip pain can be many things including peripheral nerve problems or even spinal cord impingement you can also be a repair mechanism from an autoimmune disorder or viral illness it's also very likely that it could be arthritic pain all these make more sense than that being a bilateral bacterial infection.
