Take him to the ER: Rsv can be fatal for neonates, especially if they stop eating and breathing well. He needs to be in a hospital asap!

The nasal congestion associated with the illness can contribute to the discomfort and poor feeding. Keep nasal passages clear with nasal saline drops and gentle suction. A cool air mist humidifier is also recommended. Monitor breathing and if there is distress, dehydration or poor feeding, please see your pediatrician or acute care, depending on the severity. There sincerely be improvement soon.
