A member asked:

Should i be concerned if my daughter was hospitalized for rsv when she was 7 weeks old, she's now 10 months old?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common: Infants under 10-16 lbs are the most often hospitalized with the airway mucous plugging that comes during rsv. Your 7 wk old certainly fell into that group.Baby is likely closer to 18-20 lbs now, and size matters, they don't plug up as easily if they get it again.Be vigilant, but don't expect to go through what you did before if baby gets it now.
