Depends ?obstruction: Ureteroceles usually dianosed by bladder ultrasound. No intervention unless ureterocele is causing any significant obstruction evidenced by hyrdonephrosis (kidney swelling) on that side. Is it simple single system ureterocele or ectopic with duplex kidney? Simple cystoscopic incision, to allow uretrocele to drain. Why not done at cysto? Would be happy to review us for 2nd opinion if sent by email.

Depends: Treatment will really depend on whether the ureterocele is confined to the bladder, stenotic or not, ectopic or not. 400 characters is really not enough to discuss all this but I am sure your urologist will discuss your individual case. Waiting till January may be stressful for you,it would be for me. If I were you,I would call the urologist's office and make the appointment for sooner.Best of luck
