Not normal: Infections generally raise your body temp. See a dentist or physician and get the infection treated asap.

Yes: The normal body temperature can vary by as much as 3.5 degrees throughout the 24 hour cycle. With infection it can either go up, remain the same, or even go down. Dental infections usually don't cause a fever until they get fairly severe. The Clindamycin you're using should be effective.
