Muro: By your description, it sounds like you have chronic corneal swelling and scarring. First of all, consult with an ophthalmologist prior to starting any medications for your eyes, particularly if you feel this is new. For chronic cases if corneal edema (swelling), you can try using muro 128 5% ophthalmic solution. The results, however, are mixed. Again, be certain to see an ophthalmologist.

Infection: Do not know what a chemical infection is? If you had a chemical burn or trauma to the eye, you may have scarring(and swelling acutely). Typically steroid drops and lubrication would be used initially. If you have an infection following such trauma, it would be secondary and be treated inappropriately based on the organism. If the scarring is stable and not improving, there may be a sx tx.
