Mouth injury: With any significant injury, pain can last for several days. You my take tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for pain control. However, you may consider seeing your dentist to make sure there is no underlying fracture.

Ibuprofen, dentist: Try Ibuprofen for 2-3 days as long as the tooth is not loose. If not better after that see your dentist.
