A member asked:

Can shilajit have any serious interactions with ssri's?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: Even-though, there is a long history of use of shilajit in traditional indian medicine, shilajit unfortunately lacks scientific evaluation and systematic documentation. Some think it might improve some alzheimer's patients. Some think it might help chronic fatigue. Its action on the mitochondria doesn't seem to have a relationship to ssris.
