How to remove your dentures if you've used to much fixodent?

Rinse w/ warm water: Then gently work the dentures loose. Also, clean off any adhesive still on your gums with a moistened washcloth. It sounds like you may be using too much adhesive, which is a sign of dentures that no longer fit well. It is important to see your dentist or prosthodontist regularly to make sure the dentures are properly relined and adjusted. You should not need more than a few dabs of adhesive.

Gently: If your denture has reasonable fit, then the amount of fixodent necessary to give you the security you desire should not be more than a few small dabs inside the denture. If more is necessary for denture stability or retention, then the denture may need to be relined.

Dentures: Try swishing around with water and then blow air into your cheeks. That should help release some of the suction. Then place a finger behind the upper denture and try to dislodge the denture. Repeat for the lower denture.

Use warm water: Warm water that you can comfortably tolerate and hold in your mouth. After a few minutes you should be able to pry the denture out.
