Depends: Fully erupted teeth should be no worse than any other ext.. Bony impaction will increse possibility of pain and swelling.

Better to ask first: You will be completely numbed with local anesthetic. You may also receive nitrous oxide analgesia (or IV sedation if that was already discussed). Afterwards, you may have some discomfort, swelling and minimal bleeding initially. You will be prescribed pain medication, to be taken if necessary, along with specific instructions and all your questions will be answered. It's better to ask the dr. 1st.
