ESR: Esr is a non specific test of inflammation and by itself is not diagnostic of anything, it may increase in arthritis, infection, etc. Depending on the reason why your doctor checked for it, it may be relevant to your case, but in the absence of symptoms, I am unable to give you any advice on an isolated test.

ESR reflects : The magnitude of inflammatory process in your body. Minor elevations are not a cause for concern. Stress , exercise & smoking may cause this subtle elevations . Serious medical conditions like malignancy, heart attack & stroke can cause higher elevations.Check online for more info. God bless you !
