Feeling gassy: Feeling gassy may reflect stress, but consider malabsorption (of gluten, lactose, etc.), intake of poorly digested food, or consumption of gas promoters (beans, fizzy drinks). Sometimes its more complicated--a stomach emptying too slowly, bacterial overgrowth syndrome, delayed intestinal function, partial obstruction from any cause, infection, rectum problems, non-gi issues. Try low fod-map diet.
