May be pronating: If your foot hyper-pronates, you may compress nerves over medial ankle, flexor retinaculum, which produces a transient tarsal tunnel compression. Would check with a podiatrist and perhaps get orthotics before this becomes chronic. Maybe other explanations, but this can be fully assessed at time.

Check with your doc: A neurologist may be able to find the underlying problem. However, most likely, there will be no obvious reason. But better to check with doc to be safe.
