What is fuch dysentery? i hope i got this complication correct. is it true that in the worst scenario, i may need a cornea transplant?

Dystrophy: Abnormality of a layer of cells in the cornea. This causes swelling and poor vision. If eye drops don't work, that layer can be transplanted without removin the entire cornea.

Fuchs' dystrophy : This is a rare progressive degenerative disorder that effects the cornea-- the transparent front surface of eye--& causes loss of vision. It has a genetic component & results in corneal swelling: causing blurred vision, worse in the morning but which gradually lasts longer through the day & becoming more severe, often w/ associated pain. Treatment, including surgery, is helpful.
