You use hypertonic saline (5%) and soft contact lens for mild disease. For severe disease, cornea transplant is the treatment of choice.

it is watched until a need for surgical intervention to improve vision is needed. then the patient can have a corneal transplant or more likely a transplant of endothelial cells from a donor with a DESEK or DMEK
