Fuchs: Likely not to a significant degree. More likely, aging and the progressive loss of cells over time will be most relevant factor in how your disease progresses. Surgery in the eye such as cataract surgery can cause a more significant progression of the disease but often times patients with Fuchs dystrophy need cataract surgery and then ultimately will need a definitive treatment such as DSEK.
