It is very rare to get visual side effects from LPI's even when done at the 9:00 and 3:00 locations, as many are doing now. Usually the iridotomy will retract under the limbus after treatment and may be barely visible even with careful examination. The 11:00 - 1:00 should minimize the risk of problems. Very unlikely to have any corneal uptake from the laser, especially if the Yag laser is used.
