See your dentist: You may need a bite adjustment to reduce the pressure & stress you are placing on the tooth or you may need a custom fitted mouth guard to wear (usually while asleep) to reduce wear from clenching or grinding. Your dentist can help preserve your tooth.

Variable solutions: Wear facets resulting in sharpened edges of canine teeth are common, but usually indicate deeper issues with occlusion (relation of upper and lower teeth.) a bonding may be a temporary soution. But composite restorations are much weaker than the enamel. Your problem may be as simple as a recontour of the sharp edge. Conversely, the solution may be quite intricate. See a dentist for consultation.

2 additional points: My colleagues already gave you some very thorough and excellent answers. Without actually being able to clinically examine you, we can only give you some general advice. Some patients clench and grind their teeth even when awake, and we cannot always add bonded fillings that won't constantly break off. Two other options are a crown or having to live with some wear facets on your teeth.
