Sort of.: Intuniv is a long-acting form of guanfacine, and Kapvay is a long-acting form of clonidine. Both a Alpha agonists that work similarly. They are not stimulants and work quite differently from stimulants. At present, they are approved for use by the fda only for children and adolescents, but studies are underway with adults.
