Discuss with Doctor: Yes it can be done as you say 4mgm of Intuniv is helpful but not working that well. You can discuss your concern with the child's prescribing doctor if it will be wise to switch his med to sreatarra.Or he should continue with Intuniv

Medication change : Changing medications may be beneficial to appropriately treat symptoms that have changed as the child has developed over the last 3 years. Inform your pediatrician of what symptoms are not being addressed to explore the best medication options. WithAdhd, addressing anxiety through therapy is key to successful outcomes of medication and ultimately helps the child understand how he functions.

Possibly: Other options may be to add to Intuniv or switch all together. Other non stimulant options may include: Strattera, kapvay, Wellbutrin (bupropion). Behavioral intervention, coaching, neuro feedback, omega 3 fatty acids may be additional options. Wish all of you the best

Possibly: Switching to strattera sound like a reasonable thing to try. Wellbutrin and imiprimine may be worth a try as well-both antidepressants that for some kids do exactly the same thing stimulants do
