It does happen: If there is a reason to be concerned about breast cancer get a physical examination by your doctor. If there is any suspicious lump in the breast, the doctor may order a mammogram which is a good test for screening for breast cancer and is recommended for all women over 40 years of age or if there is a palpable lump in even younger women.
