My bp is usually 120s/low60s. occasionally dystolic is mid 50s. should i be concerned about pulse pressure? just had ekg and blood work & told all looked great. didn't know to ask about p-pressure.

BP: No, no need for you to worry about this. These are normal values for you. You should be concerned were these values to change.

I would: Not be concerned about a lower pressure unless you felt weak, dizzy or were on new blood pressure medications. Gd luck.

While common stress can cause this effect, it is wise to discuss this finding with your pcp and make sure he investigates possible cardiovascular and glandular - i.e., thyroid issues. At your age, the most common cause is a stiffening of your arteries, so you want to nip this problem in the bud.
